I’ve been in real estate for 20 years and have learned a lot along the way, but industry knowledge only goes so far. It’s the life experiences I’ve had that give me a deeper understanding of and connection to the people I serve.
When I got licensed in 2005, many of my first clients were families I used to babysit for. My original tagline was: “If you can trust me with your kids, you can trust me with your house.” This work has always been about relationships, trust, and a genuine commitment to care for the people I work with. My business has grown almost entirely through word of mouth by people who know I’m someone they can count on.
I’ve lived in Lafayette since I was 9, after growing up in Delaware. My childhood was full of experiences that still shape me today, like spending summers at camp in Maine, falling in love with the water and outdoors, and traveling often with my family. My mom immigrated from Germany in her twenties, and during our visits there, we’d explore other parts of Europe as well. Those early travels gave me a lifelong appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
One moment I’ll never forget was when my childhood friend Ashley asked to use our house phone to call her dad—Joe Biden, then a U.S. senator—just to ask what color she should paint her Easter egg. And he answered, from the White House. I couldn’t believe he’d take time out of his day to do that for her. It really solidified for me the importance of making time for the people in your life. I’ve always kept in touch with people from every chapter of my life, even friends from Delaware after all these years, because I believe deeply in the value of relationships.

Having lived here most of my life, I’ve really enjoyed immersing myself in the Lafayette community by staying involved and trying to make a positive impact where I can. Since 2005, I’ve been an active member of both Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce, including over a decade serving on the Chamber’s board.
I love being a resource for all things Lafayette. I’ve built relationships with all kinds of people, like city officials, local business owners, and service providers. If you need help with something, odds are, I know someone you can trust to help!
Whether it’s where to park near a school, what to order at local restaurants, or which trail connects to the reservoir, I try to be a true local expert. Because when someone’s buying or selling a home, it’s never just about the house—it’s about the lifestyle, the community, and feeling like you belong.
One of the most pivotal experiences in my life came in 2016, when my marriage ended and I became a single mom to four kids under eight. It was incredibly difficult, but it pushed me to grow in ways I never expected. Real estate remained a steady foundation, but I also picked up extra work in restaurants. I did whatever it took to support my family.

Later I participated in deep-sea fishing trips on the Bay; where I discovered a deeper appreciation for being on the water; catching halibut and striped bass. In doing that, I connected with even more people and gained a perspective you don’t get sitting behind a desk.
Now that my kids are older, I’ve been able to focus entirely on real estate for the past few years and grow my business with more intention. One of my favorite things about living here is that no matter where I go, someone usually stops to say “hi.” I love what I do, and it’s a privilege to help people find their home in a community I care so much about.
I’m grateful for the support I’ve received along the way—from family, friends, and clients—and in this chapter, nothing means more than continuing to do the work I love, in the place I love, for the people who trust me to guide them home.
With 20 years of real estate experience, I don’t just help clients buy or sell. I handle everything in between. I coordinate painters, landscapers, stagers, sewer work, and any other services needed to get a home market-ready. I have a strong understanding of how homes are built, what projects actually cost, and how to guide clients through the decisions that need to be made along the way. I’ve spent most of my life in Lafayette and know the area well, from neighborhood streets to local parking workarounds to the best spots to eat. When sellers need help preparing their home but don’t want to pull from savings, I can connect them with a unique program that lets them access up to $50,000 of their equity before listing. It’s a great option to cover prep costs and still bring in top dollar without having to pay out of pocket. I’m also highly tuned into each client’s communication style and can adapt quickly to preferences.
My favorite aspect of real estate is building real relationships with my clients, many of whom come back or refer friends because they know I’ll show up and follow through. By the end of the process, I’m often more like a friend you can reach out to anytime, whether it’s for a real estate need or just local advice. I’m highly responsive, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals with confidence.
Sincerely,
